Well, it's about time I changed my journal. Been sooooo busy and obviously my journal wasn't on the top of my list of priorities. Anyway, I hope you like my newest painting. I have to start working on a bald eagle now, as well as work on a commission for a large company's 100 yr. anniversary. It is a collage with 10 portraits. I intend to work with acrylics and pastels, conte pencil as well. I will post my work in progress

July 6th and the first GREAT weekend we've had this season! People are in such great frames of mind. It's amazing how much effect the weather has on people. As a cashier, I encounter all kinds of moods, but yesterday my shift was so upbeat that it just flew by. I had people laughing and joking. I wish all my shifts could go like that. But that's not reality. Anyway, that's enough rambling. HAVE A GREAT DAY ALL MY FRIENDS OUT THERE AND SMILE AT EVERYONE YOU SEE TODAY!

Here it is June 1st and almost half-way thru 2008! I went on a day-trip with my father on Thurs and so I thought I would post some of the pictures I captured. The Muskoka area is so beautiful and a major cottage area in Ontario. I understand there are many American celebrities who have cottages in the Muskoka's. We didn't get to go as far as "Millionaire's Row" on many of the islands but we still saw lots of very nice places

I woke up to the sound of birds chirping! What a wonderful start to my day. Gotta work, but oh well, that's life eh?
